Meeting with Ettiene Haan
Born in Strasbourg in 1992, Etienne Haan studied in the Conservatory of his hometown with Philippe Manoury and Daniel D’Adamo, then in the Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik in Berlin with Hanspeter Kyburz. The composer’s skills includes instrumental and electronic composition, collaboration with other artists and conducting. His aesthetic research is based on perception, using causal effects and other tools to draw the public’s expectations and play with it. He is now composer in residence of the Académie de France in Madrid, and Casa Velázquez.
