information
Brouwer Trio is currently one of the leading chamber groups involved in contemporary music, praised for performing contemporary works with the same energy and passion they dedicate to classical-romantic repertoire. In addition to the 2 superb works dedicated by Leo Brouwer to the B3, more than 40 other works have been dedicated to them by composers from America, Asia, Europe and Oceania, and world premiered by the group in major concert halls and festivals in Europe, Latin-America and the USA. They have recorded with prestigious labels like Naxos, Verso, and Rycy Productions Inc., among others.

Brouwer Trio proposes a performative challenge, a concert where sound is explored from multiplex perspectives. Sometimes the virtuosity of the sound is found though the non-sound, what is heard is not what is expected, reality is transformed into magic. Other more traditional, ancestral works are also presented, where the importance lies in the poetic of sounds. The concert combines two repertoire works of the B3 (Casablancas y Peña Aguayo), several world premieres (among them the work by Garcia dedicated to the B3) and a piece by Mendoza, invited composer to Mixtur 2020.
