IMPROVISATION WORKSHOP WITH EVAN PARKER
Mixtur, in collaboration with Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació, opens the application for Improvisation Workshop in Conducting – Mixtur 2019 as part of the Festival Mixtur 2019, which will take place in Barcelona from April 25th to May 5th. The workshop will be directed by Evan Parker and is aimed at both students and professionals, regardless of their age or nationality, interested in contemporary improvisation.

The workshop will take place from the 24th to the 27th of April 2019. Evan Parker will design the contents of the workshop depending on the number of students and their instruments. The workshop will consist of 3 working sessions (the days 24th, 25th and 26th of April, from 10am to 1:00pm) and a final concert as part of the official program of the Festival Mixtur 2019 on April 27th between 10am and 1:00pm. During the workshop, Evan Parker will offer a Master Class where he will present his work as a composer and improviser. Master Classes of the rest of the Workshops will be also part of the agenda. These sessions will take place during the same week of the Improvisation Workshop and will be offered by the composers Bernhard Lang, Tristan Murail and Michael Obst.

Active participants: 140€ /// Auditing participants: 80€. Registration includes free access to all Festival Mixtur 2019 activities and concerts at Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació.
