Addressees The Improvisation Workshop Mixtur 2024 is aimed at both students and professionals of improvisation, of any age and nationality. Workshop Teacher The teacher of this edition will be pianist, composer and improviser Elisabeth Harnik.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General programmeGeneral

The workshop will take place from October 17th to 19th, 2024.

Elisabeth Harnik will adapt the content of the workshop depending on the number of the attendees and the instruments they play. The workshop will consist of the following activities:

  • 3 working sessions October 17th, 18th and 19th from 10.00 h to 13.30 h).
  • Participation in the final workshop concert, that will be part of the Festival Mixtur 2024 official programme (October 19th during the afternoon).
  • Masterclass in which Elisabeth Harnik will present her work as performer and improviser.
  • Lectures and masterclasses given by: Alberto Bernal // Irene Galindo // Alberto Posadas // Alexander Schubert and other artists to be confirmed.
  • Free access to the majority of Festival Mixtur’s activities.

APPLICATION

The application deadline is April 28th, 2024.

The workshop has 15 vacancies available.

To register, please fill in the application form attaching:

  • A short biography (600 characters with spaces).
  • A video where the candidate performs a solo improvisation.
  • A video where the candidate performs a group improvisation.

Selected applicants will be contacted via email during the month of May. After receiving confirmation, applicants will have up to 15 days to complete payment of enrollment.

REGISTRATION FEES

  • STUDENTS: 160€
  • VISITING STUDENTS: 50€

General conditions

  • Failure to meet the payment deadline will result in the loss of your reservation to participate in the Workshop.
  • It will not be possible to get your deposit back once you receive registration confirmation.
  • Participation in this call implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions.
