Workshops on Interpretation

The Workshop for Performers Mixtur 2021 is aimed at students as well as professional performers, with no age or nationality limit, with interest in the interpretation of current repertoire.

Mixtur Workshops on Interpretation 2021 will consist of the following teachers and instruments:

with Juliet Fraser

General Programme

The workshops will take place from September 30 to October 3 and will include the following activities: 

  • One individual class.
  • One Master class from each instrument open to all the workshops students.
  • Students will work with two pieces:
    • A work of free choice of the contemporary repertoire (can be from one of the teachers of the composition workshop). 
    • A brief work of a student from the Composition Workshop.
  • A rehearsal with a student from the Composition Workshop.
  • Participate in the final workshop concert that is part of the official programme Festival Mixtur 2021, with two pieces worked during the workshop.
  • Master class given by teachers from other workshops.

ENROLMENT

The enrolment deadline is April 25th 2021. The application form must be filled in online, with:

  • A short biography.
  • A link to a video from the candidate performing a piece from the contemporary repertoire.

The final results will be published on our website throughout May.

Registration Fees

  • Price: 160€

Registration includes free access to all Festival Mixtur 2021 programme activities and concerts taking place in Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació.
