The important pedagogical aspect of the Mixtur Festival takes shape in the Pedagogical Workshops, which have had, since their inception, teachers of recognized international prestige.

The Mixtur Festival organizes three Pedagogical Workshops focused on composition and sound experimentation, improvisation and interpretation. The aim of these workshops is to offer, both to higher level students and professionals, the possibility of working during the days of the festival with composers, improvisers and performers of the highest international level.

The Pedagogical Workshops also give the possibility to participate actively in the Mixtur Festival through the premiere of small works worked on during the festival and in the final concerts of the improvisation and interpretation workshops, the which are part of the festival’s official programming.

Finally, the Pedagogical Workshops promote contact and exchange between teaching staff and students in the numerous master classes open to all participants and in the common essays that form part of the workshop program.
