Anna Puig is a member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Luzern Festival Orchestra as well as viola soloist of Camerata Bern. She maintains a great chamber music activity collaborating in heterogeneous ensembles that cover from classical to popular music. She regularly plays with musicians such as Amandine Beyer, Patricia Kopachinskaja, Antje Weithaas, Sarah Nemtanu, Simon Crawford-Philipps, Jaan Bossier, Jacques Zoon, among others. Greatly interested in pedagogy, Anna is a professor of viola and chamber music at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Barcelona and assiduously participates as a teacher in young orchestras across Europe as well as in educational projects that work with people at risk of social exclusion in countries like Brazil, India and Colombia among others. Anna studied at the Conservatory of Music in her hometown in Cervera with Paul Cortese and continued her musical studies at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Walter Küssner and Tabea Zimmermann.
