Swiss vocalist, improviser, composer, and sound artist Franziska Baumann performs worldwide solo with sensor live technology and collaborates with musicians, ensembles, and video artists, and creates immersive (vocal) staged compositions, graphic scores, and sound installations. Her book Embodied Human-Computer Interaction in Vocal Music Performance has influenced voice and technology research. She teaches at the Bern University of the Arts and has received numerous awards, including the Music Prize of Bern and a Landis & Gyr residency in London.
