Ensemble Sillages, conducted by G. Bustos, gives a ‘carte blanche’ to the composer Ariadna Alsina. Through the composition ‘Des mots des murs…’, Alsina deploys 3 pieces for the ensemble and electronics, offering a musical exploration of fragility in different forms and nuances. The audience will also travel into the musical universes of Luis Naon, M. Jarrell, H. Parra and R. Saunders with compositions presenting different ways and in-depth work on timbre, gesture and sound energy. Alsina’s electroacoustic interludes will weave a common thread by moments, as a mirage…
Biografía
Ensemble Sillages, founded in 1992 by Philippe Arrii-Blachette, is a group of musicians dedicated to exploring the frontiers of musical creation. Led by Argentinian composer and conductor Gonzalo Bustos since 2020, the Ensemble is based at Quartz in Brest and performs throughout France and internationally. They work in close collaboration with contemporary composers, striving to reach diverse audiences in a spirit of accessibility and sharing. They also organize the Electrocution festival, focused on new technologies and musical innovation.
