SUR|:ROUND:|INGS deals with circles. Stars orbit their galaxies while we all go about our daily lives in the same circles and routines every day. For this theme we combine works written for ensemble via nova by well-known German composers with Festival Mixtur compositions and scenically incorporate the concert hall. Live electronics, video as well will also be integrated.

Founded in 1994 by the composer J. K. Hildebrandt in order to present self-determined and varied chamber music programs, the ensemble has gained a reputation as an excellent chamber ensemble. Together and as soloists the members of ensemble via nova perform regularly on concert stages and festivals all over Europe. Highlights have been concert tours to Switzerland, Italy, the U.K. and South-Korea. Next to the collaboration with well known friendly ensembles within the concert series COI:N:IECT an invitation to Poland, BKA and a recording by WDR will follow in 2019.
