Lotte Anker is a saxophonist, improviser and composer from Copenhague that develops in the areas of improvisation, experimental jazz and contemporary music. Anker works on her own projects -Anker, Taborn, Cleaver, What River Ensemble, Sub Habitat and Anker & Frith- and she also collaborates with artists like Ute Wasserman, Andrea Parkins, Joëlle Léandre, Evan Parker, Paul Lovens, Nate Wooley and Sylvie Courvisier, among others. She has received commissions from Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Donaueschingen New Music Fest, fEnsemble Modern and Gong Tomorrow.
Biliana Voutchkova is a dynamic, thoroughly engaged interdisciplinary artist, composer-performer, violinist & curator with a truly personal, unconventional artistic language. Through the prism of listening, her early training in classical music and the years of development as contemporary artist-performer, she explores states of spontaneity and intuitive resonance embodied in her multifaceted activities. Her work includes performances of major contemporary solo violin pieces and her original work presented as concerts/long durational formats, multidisciplinary collaborations and installations.
