Thierry De Mey presents Wall Work, a 6-minute dance film projected in loop, the final section of Dom Svobode (2000). Choreographed by Iztok Kovač and featuring Michael Rügg, Jordi Cortes Molina, Mala Kline, Maja Delak, Jordi Casanovas Sempere, Ana Stegnar, Iztoc Kovač, and Aleš Haladin, the film stages a powerful dialogue between body and architecture. Shot on 35mm, with music by De Mey, it was produced by En-Knap and eroica productions.
The sound installations are free of charge and can be visited at Fabra i Coats: Fàbrica de Creació during the following hours:

Thierry De Mey is a Belgian composer, filmmaker, and multimedia artist working at the intersection of music, movement, and image. A pioneer of “gesture music,” he has collaborated with major choreographers and ensembles, and helped shape the dance film genre. His works span installations, sound sculptures, and audiovisual creations shown worldwide. He was featured at Manifeste 2024 and is currently filming a new dance project for the French Pavilion at the Osaka 2025 World Expo.
