Bio

Thierry De Mey is a Belgian composer, filmmaker, and multimedia artist working at the intersection of music, movement, and image. A pioneer of “gesture music,” he has collaborated with major choreographers and ensembles, and helped shape the dance film genre. His works span installations, sound sculptures, and audiovisual creations shown worldwide. He was featured at Manifeste 2024 and is currently filming a new dance project for the French Pavilion at the Osaka 2025 World Expo
