Raquel Garcia is an interdisciplinary creation specialized composer awarded with the Music National Prize 2020 “for the interdisciplinary, innovative and daring nature in her own unique compositional language”. Some of her most relevant projects include the opera “Je suis narcissiste” and works created for the English National Ballet and the Dresdner Musikfestspiele. Raquel is currently working on a new opera “Alexina B.”, together with the librettist Irène Gayraud and the stage director Marta Pazos which will be premiered next season 2022/2023 in Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Pere Ginard is illustrator and filmmaker. His work is based on the exploration of perpetual motion and the melancholic creation of ghosts, monsters, prodigies and mystical outbursts, as well as sometimes unfinished observations of things that turn towards the sun and blond wavy-haired people with a tendency towards baldness. He has exhibited his films, drawings and artist’s books in many art galleries and festivals both nationally and internationally, published several illustrated books and won awards related to photography, illustration and audiovisual. Some of his shorts are part of the Hamaca Catalogue and Xcèntric Archive, the experimental film program of CCCB. Some of his zines and artist’s books are part of the library collections of MACBA.
