Cellist Erica Wise enjoys a varied career as chamber musician, soloist and teacher. She is a founding member of the Dalia Quartet and Funktion. Equally at home performing the Dvorak cello concerto at the Aspen Music Festival or collaborating with sound artist Jakob Kirkegaard for the SONAR festival in Barcelona, she brings her passion to a wide range of activities. A strong advocate for living composers, she has given the Spanish premieres of works by Tristan Perich, Hanne Darboven and Joan Magrané and international premieres of works by Octavi Rumbau, Roger Goula, Yuval Gotlibovich and Lior Navok, to name a few.
