Mixtur is paying tribute to Josep Maria Mestres Quadreny with an electroacoustic music concert and video creation. We will be able to hear his piece Quina (1979) for magnetic tape, the concert programme will include world premiere pieces from composers Medín Peirón, Francisco Ferro and Julien Peronnet, two miniatures composed by Mixtur 2021 Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop participants and the piece DIPLOID (2021) by Francesco Rizzo, this last one is the result of a collaboration between Mixtur and Matera Intermedia Festival from Italy.
